Mold Remediation

Inspect, Contain, Remediate.

Mold doesn’t go away on its own — and surface cleaning hides the real problem. Fresh Start Restoration Services handles full mold remediation, from inspection through containment, removal, and prevention. Our expert team will walk you through the ensure process.

A health issue, not just a cleaning issue.

Mold growth follows moisture — leaks, floods, humidity, hidden condensation. Once it takes hold, it can affect indoor air quality, trigger allergies and respiratory issues, and damage building materials. We treat it as the health and structural risk it is, with full PPE and contained work areas.

1. Inspection

Find the source.

We inspect for visible mold and the moisture source feeding it — leaks, vapor intrusion, condensation, post-flood drying gaps. Without solving the moisture, mold returns.

2. Containment

Stop the spread.

Affected areas are sealed off with poly sheeting and negative-air machines so spores don’t migrate to clean parts of the home or business during the work.

3. Remediation

Remove and treat.

Porous materials with active growth — drywall, insulation, carpet pad — are removed and disposed of. Salvageable surfaces are HEPA-vacuumed and treated with EPA-registered antimicrobials.

4. Restore & Prevent

Rebuild and protect.

We rebuild what was removed, apply preventive treatments, and document the work. Final clearance ensures the space is safe before we hand it back.

After Water Damage

Mold and water go together.

After a major storm or pipe burst, mold will likely follow. Once moisture makes it into the walls, floors and ceilings, the potential for mold increases. After a water damage remediation, our team checks the places water hides, identify any growth, and remediate before it becomes a bigger problem.
